Pastor Matt, and Jonathan from Calvary Church visiting our church.

Pastor Matt Doan and Jonathan Smalley from our sister church Calvary of Santa Ana came for a two-day to visit our church. Although it was a short visit, it was a great pleasure to welcome Pastor Matt and Jonathan in our church that is a sister church with Calvary Church to spend a blessed time together.

They arrived in Lushnje on the 24th of January in the evening and the following day they were present at the children’s service, Tomorrow Club which took place on Saturday at the” Way of Peace” in Lushnje, introduced to the club’s kids and teens.

Then they continued their journey to the village of Bitaj, where not only were the children greeted with love, but they enjoyed some moments with them in the church “Way of Peace” Bitaj.

They also stayed for a visit to the home of Flori and Elona, where they saw the house close to the entrance to the new home being built. It is a great blessing to watch as the project comes to life and different people enjoy God’s blessings.

And at the end of the day time of friendship with church leaders.

Pastor Matt shared the very encouraging message for the church at Sunday’s service. His message was focused on Jesus’ last words in Matthew 28: 18-20. Before he came to the Father, Jesus gave us the great commandment, go, make disciples, and the most beautiful promise “I am with you always, to the end of the age”. To reach the peoples and nations of the world about Jesus, there are places in the world where there is no follower of Jesus. Our call, to go to these nations, to proclaim the good news of Jesus.

His friend Jonathan shared the vision of Calvary Church. Every believer would pray for his neighbor and then invite him to church. Reach the neighbors for the glory of Jesus, get out of the comfort zone. A challenging message for the “Way of Peace” Lushnje and Bitaj.

Also, they had wonderful discussions with Victory School students in their English classes.

Thanks to Pastor Matt Doan and Jonathan Smalley for the blessed time we spent together, thanks for the pleasant conversations at Victory School, thanks for the encouragement you gave us in the Lord, thank God for your serving heart! Blessed that we had you!
