A team of eleven young people, boys and girls from Calvary Church flew from far America to arrive at the “Way of Peace” church, Lushnje. Arrived in our city on June 14th and stayed until June 24th. During their ten-day stay, the Calvary Church team, led by a wonderful, very energetic girl Eryn Holm, organized various programs and services.

The team from Calvary Church also collaborated with the Victory School Foreign Language Center. For the Victory School students there was a special program: English Lesson, Bible Study, Crafts, Games, Music. To accomplish this program, they divided into five groups depending on their age. The first day was attended by 80 children and teenagers and the following days the number reached up to 120. Children and young people practiced English during various activities, learned how to make crafts, had fun playing games, but also cultivated a new way of behaving, shaped by Bible principles such as love for one another, acceptance, cooperation, forgiveness, help.

Victory School students and church youth were offered a one-week Bible study. One of the highlights of the afternoon was the moment of reflection, where our young people after Bible study, divided into small groups of ten, discussed Bible principles that were taught. Then they had a fun time where song, music, games added to the joy of children and young people. All this activity ended with a three-day camp on the beautiful beach of Spille. Young people who had attended the Bible study were invited to a special time, where the day began with worship and prayer, study of the word of God, worship of beauty and nature on the beach with fun, special and unique games developed on the sand of Spille beach. Our young men dressed in uniform attracted the attention of beachgoers and became a good witness to all vacationers. The beauties of nature, sunlight, the sea, Bible study, entertainment, delicious food turned that three-day camp into one of the most cherished memories of our youth.

On Monday, the Calvary Church team gathered all the youth to present the camp video, which recorded the funniest moments of all the week’s activities. Our young men thanked the Calvary team for all their dedication, love and heart. By exchanging emails, they promised to stay in touch with the Calvary team and meet again soon in another similar activity.
