Being the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas has an important mission to fulfill. A mission that involves lightning up the fire of hope and gratitude in people’s hearts so they can understand better what it feels like to be loved, valued and blessed. A mission very well carried out by “Victory School” through all the activities which took place here.

” Christmas Shoes” is a campaign aimed at helping children in need with a pair of shoes. Unfortunately, many children in Albania do not have the opportunity to enjoy a pair of new and warm shoes before the rough winter to knock at their door.

On the Christmas weekend, “Kepucët e Krishtlindjes” were in Lushnje, supported by the students and staff of Victory School and Way of Peace Church. At the time of the donation from the students and a lot of people, a total of 117 pairs of shoes were delivered to children in need. When giving gifts to the little ones there was much joy and innumerable smiles on their faces. Being able to see the joy that warmed the children’s hearts was a very valuable moment and the most desirable prize for each person involved in this project.

Fulfilling missions, tasks and dreams requires much love, commitment and support.  It is necessary to be supported even from the “the ones” who hold in their hands a lot more power to accomplish great tasks and gifts. The Victory School is grateful to be supported by the Mayor and Deputies of the City and this was demonstrated when they visited the school.

The latest activity, but described as “the chocolate chip on this Christmas cookie at the Victory School” was undoubtedly the service. It is important to underline the reason and the significance of this warm and amazing feast called “Christmas”. This is why the service has been focused on understanding the birth of Christ as God’s child and the reason for Christmas. There were a few Bible verses from “Tomorrow’s club” children, some worship songs and a significant message from the pastor.
