Our church held a baptism ceremony in the Adriatic Sea, on the beautiful beach of Spille.

Submerged baptism is an external sign denoting the inner transformation; it is a symbol of the death and resurrection of Jesus that identifies the believer with Christ; it is also a sign of obedience to God. When we dive into water we die in our old life and when we get out of the water we have new life with Jesus.

On this wonderful and unique day, seven believers were baptized: Julia Mbriçe, Flavio Veliu, Erinda Kashari, Eleni Kola, Sara Kovaci, Megi Shani, Megi Sula.

They attend Sunday service regularly, are committed to their faith, and have a great heart to serve God. They confess to their brothers and sisters in the church their faith in Jesus Christ and proclaim Jesus as the Lord and Savior of their lives.

What a great joy on this special day! A celebration not only on earth but also in heaven where the heart of God is pleased with his children. And where it would be nice to end this day except with songs of praise, worship, shouts of joy and hugs with each other.
