Way of Peace Church in Lushnje and Bitaj held a baptismal ceremony on the beautiful sandy beach of Divjaka. Together we worshiped the great and living God by the sea. Celebration is a special ceremony in the life of every believer.

Water baptism is a symbol of the burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it is a public confession of faith in the Lord Jesus, it is an act of obedience to God’s commandments, it is an outward symbol of our heart’s commitment to Jesus Christ. When we dive in the water we bury our old lives and when we get out of the water we have a new life with Jesus.

On this special and wonderful day four believers were baptized, whose names are: Kaltrina Syla, Fatime Cela, Nimete Arapi, Xheni Gjergji. They have a great desire to serve the Lord, are faithful in the service of Sunday worship, and are very committed to their faith. They waited before the brothers and sisters of the church that Jesus died, were buried, and on the third day they were resurrected and proclaimed Jesus as their Lord and Savior of their lives.

A special and indescribable emotion we all experienced, young, old, young, and old. Our hearts were filled with the joy that four people joined the great family of God. The angels of God in heaven celebrated by worshiping in the choir of the holy of holies, Jesus who overcame death, Jesus Christ the living. A memorable day, a day filled with joyful shouts and hugs full of love, a day that will remain in the memory of the believers. Thank God for this festive day!
