Christmas! The most important event of the year where we look forward to celebrating the birth of baby Jesus, the birth of the Savior. Christmas is a special day where the hearts of believers rejoice that Jesus Christ, the son of God who has already begotten them, fills their lives with true joy, hope for the future, peace for the human soul.

Preparations at the Way of Peace church began in December. The church was glittering with twinkling lights, the choir of worship prepared for the beautiful Christmas songs, the multicolored ornaments created an aura of joy where a smile was present on every believer. Throughout the month it was preached about the Christmas message, believers preparing their hearts by reading daily Christmas meditations. Teens and children were also organized into various groups preparing dramas, dances, songs and Christmas recitals. The church was buzzing with the happy voices of children who were eagerly awaiting December 25th. The whole church was in motion, with the focus being on inviting friends, relatives, people known to be part of the church’s Christmas celebration.

Everything was ready to celebrate the birth of the Savior. At the Sunday service, many people who were already coming to church joined the faithful for the first time. The service began by singing ” Holy Night”, followed by the wonderful songs performed by the worship group, children and adolescents. Even more important is Pastor Berti’s wonderful Christmas message; three Christmas presents. The first gift: Jesus came to give us a high purpose for life, the second gift: the hope of fighting, the third gift: Christ came to truly help us in our struggles. Jesus is alive, Jesus is omnipotent, Jesus lives in us by faith. Thanks be to God for the unspeakable gift of his son, Jesus Christ. The service closed with a greeting of “Happy Christmas!”
