Mother’s day is a great blessing from God. The mother is a beautiful reflection of God’s love on Earth. She is the one who takes care of her family; interferes in front of God’s throne with prayers; she gives precious advice to her children; she criticizes gently and with love; she sacrifices without waiting for anything in return; she is the one who gives us infinite love.

Sunday service in “ Way of Peace” started with thanksgiving from Pastor Berti for all their commitment to God and to all the ministries. They do such a wonderful work all the time. God created the woman in his image; wonderful and precious for the family, the church and the society.

The teens had organized an amazing surprise for all the ladies.

They had in their hands some baskets with carnations and chocolates and also some cards with encouraging verses.

While they were sharing the gifts, you could see a smile in the women’s faces and their joy could not be hidden.

Also, the preaching was very special; it was dedicated to women; “God loves you”. Pastor Berti talked about the place of women in God’s law. Unlike the women of other nations, the women of Israel had enough freedom. If they were capable of spinning and weaving, they could have their own trade. In Moses’ law, women were individuals with their own rights. Also, in the ancient Israel women could have a personal relationship with God. Bible gives us the example of Hannah that prayed God about something personal and made a commitment. The prayers helped her face all the difficulties. We can mention Deborah with a sacrificing soul. The women were well educated, listen to the Word, had their own trades, they used to sing and educate their children too. Also, they were honored, respected and protected. The message was so encouraging and everyone was feeling blessed.

In the end, the women had a nice picture all together. And then celebrated with traditional dance, song, and friendship with each others.
